Stitching By the Fire

A cold day in Baton Rouge and the perfect time to sit and stitch in front of a blazing fire!

I'm stitching the beading to my sleeve..the old fashioned way!
The garment is part of the class project for Farmhouse Fabrics.

The three day class is this March.

Having Earl Grey tea, my favorite.  Don't you love my tea towel?  The tea pot and tea cup are cross stitched on the towel.  Very vintage, a gift from a Friend.

My sweet Brown Dog is never very far from me.  Every time I see a photo of him in my living room I am just so pleased at how well a Brown Dog looks in this room!

Just finished reading this book.

Have a happy day!

You seem to have removed the guard from the fireplace. Looks warm and cosy, but those cinders might burn something.

I have pulled the screen back to get more warmth, but only when I am sitting right there to watch it. We have tile on the floor in front of it too. Not to worry!
