Granddaughters in Paris - Montmart

Montmarte - Where the artists are painting in the square.  

My daughter and me.
And you can sit at an outside cafe and watch the goings on.


The portrait artists are watching for any sign that you will be a willing model for them. 
 (no charge if we don't want it!)

Here is a talented man with the scissors, creating silhouettes in the blink of an eye.

He did a wonderful job on both girls and we were happy and willing to buy them.


A pretty walk down, down, down the stairs….

And..voila…. the fabric shops were below.

My find.  

There was a shop on a corner that had fabric for table clothes in different shapes and sizes.  My guess was a good one and it fits my table perfectly.  I still have to hem the edges, wash and iron it.

Very French, don't you think?
