Pretty White Baby Dress!

This little white Baby Dress has a lovely collar.

While teaching in Houston, I stayed with Leslye who had many cute baby clothes to show me.
(and beautifully ironed too!)

Embellished with hand embroidery and the lace insertion is attached with Bermuda Fagotting.
Gathered lace edging is had whipped to the insertion.

The total picture makes me want to reproduce it.

I like the way all the seams are finished with tiny piping.

The lace  along the skirt is also attached using the Bermuda Fagotting.
And the tucks balance it all.

This is the back of the dress.  Just as pretty.

The back of the collar is sweet too.

Here is a peek at the slip.

I love a pretty matching slip!

So pretty! How are the armholes and neck of the slip finished?

I have some vintage baby clothes I need to get out and look at.
