Last Day of Class at Peanut Butter and Jelly Kids

Third post on teaching at Peanut Butter and Jelly Kids!

On Day Three we had an Embroidery Class.

We spent a lovely day working the Featherstitch, Old Fashioned Double Featherstitch, French Eyelets, French Knots and a variety of Bullion Roses

You can do alot with those stitches!!

I love this Bonnet Collection.

Everyone seemed a little nervous because it was also the last day to purchase supplies before they drove back home!!  Decisions had to be made.

I love this little bonnet on display at the shop.

You can make it using my Baby Bonnet One pattern.  (My pattern does not include the puffing directions.)

I love that Anna Marie is so involved with the Girl Scouts.

She has BOXES of Girl Scout cookes for sale.
(memories of my girlhood…going door to door selling cookies)

I wanted to include this picture.  Peanut Butter and Jelly Kids  has a basketful of hand crocheted Booties for sale.  These have become hard to find in my neck of the woods!  The more you walk around the shop….the more interesting things you find.

On this last day of class Bettina brought in her dress all finished but for a touch of lace edging at the yoke.

Her dress is absolutely beautiful.

She finished the Bonnet too!!  Well Done!

My conclusionat the end of the day:

Baby's Tucked Yoke Dress and Classic Embroidery Stitches are both very good classes.

and

Learned SO much in my very first sewing class since Home Ec in the '70's. And a LOT of laughter. Take Jeannie's class if you get the chance!
