Day 2 Sewing Fun at Farmhouse Fabrics

On Day 2 in our class at Farmhouse  Fabrics we cut out a slip for our Baby Dress

(we talked about careful pinning and cutting - the seams are just 1/4" so it is easy to change the seam allowance by inaccurate cutting)

For details on making a Gertrude Slip - Lesson 1 http://oldfashionedbaby.blogspot.com/2009/12/lesson-on-gertrude-baby-slip-layout.html

Lesson 2

This was a very focused group of ladies.  They loved sewing!

We put lace on our Gertrude Slip by machine.

And we all bought Fabric!!

…one more day of Stitching Fun.
