A Week of Sewing - Day 4

Baby's First Daygown in White Linen



With blue linen contrast for the hemstitched sleeve bands and the bias at the neck.

I decided a simple embroidery design between the top buttons gave me the look I wanted.

I love the trim going down one side!

And here is the embroidery design with all the fabric marker washed away.

This is one of the classes I am teaching for SAGA in the fall.

I am not actually done yet.  I plan to Pinstitch the Bias at the neck for a really pretty look.

And it still needs to be hemmed.
