A Happy Morning

This morning I finally had the time to cut out the binding for my sons quilt!

I cut it out and stitched it along the edges.

Now  I can  turn the binding and hand sew it in place.

This is a close up of the machine quilting on the back of the  quilt.

 I love the backing fabric.

Perfect for our south Louisiana area.  The quilting pattern Charlene (The Happy Quilter) used matches the fabric.

Charlene is the best long arm quilter ever!!

Lucky son! The dark red and cream look lovely together. Is it getting cold where you are? It is so nice to bind a quilt in front of the fire.
