Stitched on Mom's Featherweight

These are the labels I stitched on the back of my sons quilt.

I wanted him to know I stitched it special on my Mothers old Featherweight Sewing Machine.

I showed him the labels.

And he asked "what's a Featherweight?"

Paul and me.  Quilt stitched and delivered!

So I explained to him how special it was that I pieced the quilt on my Mom's old machine.

I want to add that he noticed the quilt backing…fleur de Lis.

And he noticed, right away, that the stitching used to quilt it (by Charlene…The Happy Quilter) was also the Fleur de Lis

It made me happy.

You look so young... you look like brother and sister. I love that quilt pattern, Jeannie. You did a great job. What pattern is it? I am a quilter too. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Thanks. I made the pattern up. It's a 9 patch with sashings. Maybe. After Christmas I will put it on my blog.
