Featherweight Sewing Fun

I had a wonderful day with a Friend!

She brought her Featherweight with her to visit and we sewed all day long on our Featherweights.

Betsy Chutchian is the author.
This book along with the fabric have been waiting for  three years.

Today was the right time to begin.
I love the book especially because there are excerpts from Lizzie's personal Journal.

My Block 1

I am making my quilt with a variety of pink fabrics.

My Friend is making hers using a variety of blue fabrics.

"This is a beautiful day.  Mother and myself went to see Sister Mary Brown.  We found them well and prosperous.  I worked on Vina Taylors quilt - peaced basket - I am setting it together for her."

Happy March Sewing to you:)

I love your block, Jeannie! The colors are perfect.

I received your sweet comments on my blog today, and wanted to answer your question. The colors for our farmhouse are Sherwin Williams Ibis White (semi-gloss) for the woodwork, and Repose Gray (eggshell) for all the walls.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I always appreciate hearing from you.
xoxo
