Sew Sews Come to My House

My Sew Sew friends meet once a month.  We stitch, chat and have lunch together.
This month was at my home.
Carole brought her collection of old Baby Gowns.

This pretty little gown could easily be made using my  Old Fashioned Baby Layette Pattern.

This pattern can be  especially great for those who like to create designs themselves.

You can follow the pattern exactly for a lovely gown.

Or you can use the basic pattern and change the yoke around, adding tucks, lace etc.

The back of the gown also features tucks.

I love it when the back of the design reflects the front!

I'll show you more next post.
