Swiss Edging on Nighty

Day Four of the #juststitchsevendaychallenge

It didn't take very long to stitch the Swiss Edging to the Nightgown skirt I am making Londyn. But it took soooo much more time to decide what I was going to do at the hem.

Lace? Swiss? Nothing?
OK....Swiss Edging.

Which Swiss Edging? And so it goes.

And it is always like that for me.
Choosing the materials is the hardest part of making something!

Because I want it to be the perfect Swiss for this hem.

In the end, I though this one looked very nice.

You can see the right and wrong side  of the skirt.  I rolled and whipped the raw edge by machine.  I plan to go back and top stitch the entredeux part of the trim on the right side. That will keep it from flipping up.

But.  I needed to change the thread.
So I decided to wait until the next day.
Does that say l a z y to you?

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits. unwavering, without hypocrisy.
