Lilly's Sunsuit

I was able to see Lilly in the cute little Sunsuit I made for her. 

Complete with cute Shadow Embroidery!

She is a doll!

Too Big!!

I can move the buttons so it won't fall off her...but don't know if that is enough.

I already have fabric and ideas to make one in a smaller size!!

Don't you hate it when that happens?

Will the next one be too small?

On Making Crochet Blankets!

Many people have wanted to know about the green crochet that edges the pretty pink blanket.

My friend Carole did the crochet on this blanket.

And she has agreed to help me do a lesson on preparing the blanket for a crochet edging.  And a simple crochet edging.

I received an email from Lisa who made these blankets after being inspired by a post I did about my sewing group.  The post featured blankets being made by one of my friends.

Her blankets are all so cute.  And you never have enough blankets!!

Teaching classes is a big part of what Heirloom Creation does. That is the Sewing School of Acadiana part! Classes are important because we want to learn new techniques and perfect our skills.  It's more fun when we know what were doing.
