Victoria's Quilt Done…completely!

My granddaughter and her totally finished Quilt!

Here is a picture of (almost) the entire quilt.  It is lap size, kind of.  Victoria made sure it would cover her toes and come up to her chin too.

Here she is showing us two corners on the back of the quilt.  The right corner has a scripture sewn onto it.  The other corner is the label I made.

So, there you have it.
You can be a quilter and  be in love with Heirloom Sewing!

Quilting at The Beach!

Victoria chose the yellow fabric for her quilt binding.

And I embroidered a label for the quilt.
To remember.

I spent  some time at the table by the window, stitching the binding down!

At the beach….

It was wonderful!

Victoria's and Grams Quilt - Update.

I picked up Victoria's quilt (and I am claiming partnership with her!) from the quilter.

I love it!

The only thing left to do is stitch the binding around the edges of the quilt.

I love the quilting.  It's very 30's looking flowers.
I already knew Charlene would do a wonderful job of quilting  it!

Charlene (the Happy Quilter) puts all her customers quilts into a nice bag for pick up.

This is a picture of me.
I feel like a real quilter now!!

Victoria wants either a purple or yellow binding.
I'm waiting for her to  choose which, and then I can get busy!

Which fabric/color would YOU choose?

Yellow or Purple?

(no other choices allowed!)
