A Christmas Daygown and My Good Brown Dog

This photo bears repeating!!

Talk about "Sweet Dreams"!!

I threaded floss  through the holes of the  entredeux part of the Swiss Edging.
For those thinking about sewing for a Christmas Baby I wanted to remind them of Baby's Frist Daygown pattern.  Its cute and easy.

Here it is made from yummy Swiss Flannel fabric.  Soft and fine and brushed for warmth.  Not at all like the heavy flannel.

I lengthened the daygown so I could add a ribbon and cover baby's little feet.

The instructions for adding length and a casing are in the Sew Beautiful Magazine Nov/Dec 2011

I used Bias Binding at the neck, red and green Christmas floss and red ribbon to make it Christmas.

On another important note....

Me, Strider and the two wonderful Dog Obedience instructors
My Brown Dog passed the test and is now a "Canine Good Citizen"!!

What a good dog you are, Strider!!!
