Tea Party with Friends!

Chocolate Chip Scones, Earl Gray Tea and Violas from my Garden.
Friends came to tea today!
Also, Sandwiches, Cranberry Scones, Raspberry Iced Tea and a pot of Apple Cinnamon Spice tea.
We all just had a nice time visiting with each other and no one stitched at all!  Imagine that!
I love to use my dishes.  Each tea cup was different.  We used my  Grandmothers tea cups and one from my Mothers china pattern.

I love antique linens!
Part of the fun is using lovely old linen napkins.

Isn't the embroidery beautiful!

Not a lot to choose from in my garden for picking.  I think my Pansies make a cute arrangement.
It is so nice to be with friends.
I had a happy day!

oh what fun! You have some very lucky friends! I also have a collection of tea cup and saucers that belonged to both of my grandmother's! My mother gifted me with several bags of family linens too and I LOVE using them for special occasions!

Nothing better than time with friends, unless it is using lovely china and linen while spending time with friends! Looks like you are definitely still having fun this year!

oooooooh, you get me so excited! My friends and I are throwing a bridal tea at the end of April and I love to style the table and prepare the food. Thanks for the inspiration...and no stitching?!? Don't know whether that is good or bad :)
