My Summer of Daygowns!!

These are the finished Daygowns that my Friend and I made.
I am working on a new sleeve.
I love Daygowns!  We are going to make them all summer long!!
I made the white Daygown with one sleeve draft and  Friend made the pink Daygown with a slightly different sleeve.
You can make cute  Daygowns using Baby Layette pattern.
Friend used the Lace and Embroidery design from my book "Jeannie B's Book of  Heirloom Embroidery Designs and Stitches"

I am changing the sleeves a little so I can't wait to make another Daygown using the new sleeve.
We have already chosen our fabric for our next Daygowns!!  I will show you next!

So sweet and so pretty. What lucky little babes to get to wear such beautiful handmade day gowns.

Beautiful - who are all the daygowns for?

Well, As it so happens, the white one I made is for the soon to be baby girl of my son in laws brother and wife. I plan to make a matching bonnet. The next one I make is for my neighbors new baby boy. My friend makes hers just for the sheer pleasure of it!

Hi Jeannie: Is there any way that you would consider doing a daygown sew along? with lessons like you did on the Priscilla daygown? And close up pics? I'd love it and definitely join in! patti
