"Join us Oct 23 & 24 2010 for this two day class on Little White Baby Dress with Jeannie Baumeister "The Old Fashion Baby" (12-hour class- Machine And Handsewing- This class features a pretty white dress that is big on Heirloom sewing techniques along with the two most popular embroidery stitches, Featherstitching and Bullions! Jeannie will show you the method she uses to shape, miter and overlap lace as you stitch it to the fabric, then trim the fabric from behind the lace for a light and airy look. The design is a varation of her Daydress pattern which was featured in Sew Beautiful magazine several years ago. The fabric is a treasured Geiger Lawn and the laces are pretty and fine. There are tucks at the yoke and dainty Featherstitching with Bullion Rosebuds to embellish this little dress. You will learn both the single and the Old Fashioned Double Featherstitching as you stitch in class. This is a beautiful dress that will enhance and improve your sewing skills. "
