The Family Jewels - Antique Needlecraft Magazine

From my new Needlecraft Magazine circa 1928.
Hmm... need to read the whole story!

Notice that they all (little baby boy , Jackie included) appeared in the same little dress at their Christenings and on other state occasions!

And it was a dainty little batiste dress that  Grandmother gave her Grandchild.  I am sure she made the Christening Gown , though they didn't say!

Beautiful Baby in a Christening Gown made by her Grandmother!

Pattern is from Raglan Christening Gowns, View 3. Kit available.
And we can make a Christening Gown for our own sweet little Grandbaby!

Jesus said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them...."
And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
Mark 10:14,16

Oh my goodness!! I know that sweet baby girl. Can't get enough of those cheeks. Of course I am not real sure why her father is petting her head. :) Thanks for the mention and link.
