Stitching By The Fire.

I love to sit and stitch by my fire as much as I like to stitch in my Garden.  Well, almost as much.
I have tea to keep me warm.  In a  pretty Teacup.

I am smocking on a dress from Baby's Smocked Layette pattern.
This "loveliness to be" is what I'm stitching.
I'm using a new fabric. It's Bear Threads new dimity fabric in a soft, beautiful blue.
I'll show you more later.

I have ear phones in my sewing basket so I can listen to a book on tape.

My brown dog is so nosy!
Really, he just wants to be wherever I am.

The flowers have gone to bed.
They will sleep all winter.
The snow will come and cover them.
It will keep them warm.

What a wonderful way to spend an evening...especially like the "little" brown companion! Happy Stitching!

Pretty fabric! What book are you listening to? I do that all the time, too. But I don't have such a gorgeous dog.
