Pink Saturday- Baby Gown

This is a pretty pink Baby Gown.
She stitched it using one of my Old Fashioned Baby Patterns.

Made from fine Swiss  Fabric. With French Lace.

It is fashioned after an antique gown - see the story here.

Made using off white lace.  So pretty with pink.

This is not pink but is a Christening Gown made by CW who sent me this picture.  It is the same pattern using a different version.  It makes a wonderful Christening Gown.

And a pink Rose from my garden.
Smells wonderful too!

Pink(pingk) n. 1. Light red 2. The highest degree of excellence: in the pink of health

This is my Pink Saturday Post for this week.

What beautiful and dainty baby dresses/christening outfit. I cannot imagine doing all of that intricate work by hand. I had one friend who hand made and hand smocked baby hats, dresses, and gowns. She was so talented. Those of you who do this have a very special talent that few get to enjoy. HPS.

The baby gown is gorgeous..I still have my baby gown with its little satin slip and lace edge which my daughter also wore as a baby and hopefully if she has a daughter oneday she will wear it also. there is something very special about these pretty little gowns we dress our children in.
Thankyou for sharing.

Jeannie, what fabric is the pink dress? It's so delicate.
