Paris - Day 4 Bike Tour

This is the beautiful building that is the Train Station.
On Saturday we met the guide for our Fat Tire Bike Tour at the Railway Station.  I am very impressed with the public transportation they have.  How easy it makes life!

We had a 45 min train ride to Vernon and then picked up our bikes to begin our tour.  Our destination was Monet's Garden in Giverny.

First stop - an open air market to pick up Picnic supplies.

When this man saw my camera pointed at him, he stopped his demonstration to pose.

Do you see the quilted throw hanging to the right?  The one with sprays of roses?  I bought it and toted it on the back of my bike for the rest of the tour.

Biked through the village.

And stopped to hear about an old Church.

Then we had a Picnic by the Seine river.
It was a perfect day!

Notice my blanket was put right to use for our Picnic!

Then we began our trek to Giverny.
More about our tour next time...
