Teaching at The Smock Shoppe - Sewing Booklet

One of my Students at The Smock Shoppe brought in several lovely garments to show me.
Then, she pulled out this little book she writes in. I loved it!! She writes down the pattern she used as well as fabric, trims and prices.  She includes illustrations.

It is done like the old Mindon Sewing Booklets from the LSU Clothing Collection.

Well, you know I love the book cover!

This is "Sweet and Simple Bubbles and Bonnets"!

I am totally delighted with her booklet.

I keep a design booklet too so I will have information at hand regarding what I have done for different projects.  But, mine lacks the charm of this one.

Next post I will show you the pretty garments she brought!

Hi Jeannie! I enjoyed your class so much! you are one smart lady that God has blessed with so much knowledge to share.
I am glad you liked my book. I always intend to write everything down but seem to always forget something I wish I remembered :)
