Embroidered Initial

From my last class.....The embroidered letter "D".
Sent to me by a student who finished her guest towel.

(you can find a similar design in my Jeannie B. Embroidery Book too)
First you Featherstitch the initial, then you add flowers until it looks real pretty!

Wow. i still have trouble featherstitching a reasonably straight line. The curved feather stitch on this are beautiful.
