Great Heriloom Class in Dothan, Alabama

The Baby Dress from my pattern "Antique T-Yoke, Baby Dress and Christening Gown" is the project for the class I will be teaching in Dothan, Alabama.  Or you can choose to make the Gown.

I have modified the pattern slightly from the original for class, omitting the ruffle at the skirt so it is like the gown but a shorter length with puffed sleeves.

It is a beautiful dress that has some serious Heirloom Sewing Techniques.
The "T" yoke is the   yoke plus a panel that extends to the hem of the dress.  There are two gathered side panels that attach to the "T" yoke with lace.

Although this can be challenging, we will stitch it together in class  step by step in such a way that will give even the beginner excellent results.

It's exciting for me to see students who are amazed that they are easily able to make  such an exquisite garment as this!

I am teaching at
