Under-tuck Baby Daygown Class

I have been teaching at Beth's Heirloom Sewing Shop in Wetumpka, Alabama

We hand stitched the tucks and learned about Under -tucks. The short version of Under-tucks is that they add additional fullness to a garment.  Cool and very Old Fashioned!

The ladies also mitered and stitched lace to our Daygown.
And learned to hand stitch the tucks for a soft finish.  And we learned that it isn't hard to do it!

After the first day of class, Beth gave me a tour of Wetumpka.  Then we stopped at the River Park and took a long and lovely walk along the river path.

Wetumpka is a pretty little town!

More to come…..
