This embroidery is exquisite.
It is hand stitched.
Padded Satin, Open Work, Outline Stitch, French Knots, Seed Stitch.
Exquisite!
It was stitched on a sleeve….long ago. It looks like someone unpicked the sleeve, then cut it off at the lower edge. (Your guess is as good as mine as to why they cut it).
It would be lovely framed, or as inspiration.
