I love Lace!
And I am always excited to see paintings that have details of pretty Lace.
What a fine job the artist did portraying the beauty of this fine delicate Lace.
Next in the textile collection was the Quilt Room.
Today this would be called a Whole Cloth Quilt. Which is one piece of fabric quilted all over.
Trapunto, where padding is inserted under the fabric, was included in the design of the quilt.
Isn't it Stunning?
