Isolation Day 11 - Lilly's Sweet Smile

Lilly is about 6 months old here.
She is wearing a Baby Dress that I made for a class for Saga.
It is entirely hand sewn and was such a pleasure to make.
Because I have been missing in Blog Action , I haven't posted pictures of Lilly.
Although I did put some on Instagram.

Lilly's claim to fame is that she is the sweetest, most smiley and pleasant baby in the world.
That is a big plus when you have a precocious 2 year old, fearless big sister.
One of Londyns favourite phrases is "That's mine".
Everything is this wide, wide world appears to be hers.

Some of you took this class at Saga National and made this little dress.  Well, some made it and some started it.  Now would be a good time to finish, when you have all the time in the world.

It is the most precious garment ever on a baby.  So soft and cuddly on  this little one.

I used the pattern Baby Layette, but I did use  sleeves  from a different OFB pattern (I think Sweet and Simple Daygown) and a design inspired by a Vintage Dress worn by a friend. When time allows I will put together a kit for my Web Shop.

So, how are you doing in this Isolation - is it getting old?  I would like to hear from you.

Alicia said in her comment that she prefers to think of this time we are experiencing,  as her Retreat.  I really like that idea.  I need to unpack a few more boxes then my Retreat begins too.

and lean not on your own understanding"
