Show and Tell From My Home to Yours!

Sewing makes me happy!!

I finished this play dress for Londyn. It is  French Acadian Sundress in size 18 Months but Londyn is small and it will fit her fine.

The only frills are Lace Edging at the front yoke and Embroidery.

(uh oh!! just noticed in this photo that I have two more leaves to stitch around one of the Roses!)

A South Louisiana tradition.

I also made these cute little Summer Play Outfits for Lilly and Londyn.

Sister Outfits.
I put a pocket on Londyns.

View of the back.

I used an old pattern I have had since about 1970.
Simplicity #8165

I had fun using this pattern again.
I used it for my girls in the 70's.

Those are so pretty! I love the playdresses -- that looks like the pattern that my mom used for me in the mid-70s, and which I then used for my own two little girls in the early 2000s. <3

Jeannie I love that pattern, I made it several times for my girls and my girlfriends girls................but somehow it has been lost (or lent). Not with my pattern stash as I looked for it when I had grand daughters.
