Beautiful example of White work.

The illustration below shows the collar tied.  I think it was left loose for us to see the detail and the extensive stitching done on it.

And the necessary under garments to give it the proper shape.

This museum is  amazing!

At  the Victoria and Albert museum there are free tours through out the day.

We went on the Medieval and Renaissance Tour.

I love the muted and lovely colors.

I wonder how they looked hundreds of  years ago.

On my  recent visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum it was my purpose to look at textiles and design.

My Victoria and I went to the Victoria and Albert Museum.

A purposeful destination for me.

The problem with displays in museums is:

They won't let you touch anything!!
