Emma is one year here, wearing the 6 month size. Alas, Emma Rose is 6 now!
This is my little Granddaughter Emma Rose.
Can you guess where I got the name Baby Rose for this pattern?
She is wearing View 3 Baby Dress from my Baby Rose Raglan Dresses pattern.
Notice the blue Featherstitching along the shoulder/sleeve seam.
Blue and White! My favorite color combination.
It is a simple little baby dress and very easy to make.
And so old fashioned!!
Click on the photo to enlarge.
And you can see that I have worked Featherstitching with the Seed Stitch at the top front (before construction).
That is View 3!
I used the same blue embroidery floss at the hem to add a little color there.
In this picture the dress is a few years old. But it's the same dress.
This picture was taken with more light.
It is one of my favorites. Very, very old fashioned baby!
And both 3-6 Months and 6-12 Months is in the pattern.
"I know a baby, such a baby,
round blue eyes and cheeks of pink,
Such an elbow furrowed with dimples,
such a wrist where creases sink.
'Cuddle and love me, cuddle and love me,'
Crows the mouth of coral pink:
Oh, the bald head, and, oh, the sweet lips,
And, oh the sleepy eyes that wink!"

Love it... especially the delicate blue stitches!
Too Precious. I love the photo of her peeking out the window.
