Preparing For Downton Abby!

It is very important that I have just the right project to stitch while I watch Downton Abby!

It can't be anything too difficult and it can't be anything I have to think about (or I might miss something!).  It certainly can't be embroidery or my stitches might come out cattywampus and that wouldn't do!

So, I have chosen a quilt I am piecing by hand.  It's very easy stitching.  Just the running stitch. And I will make sure I have everything on hand and ready to go so I won't miss a thing!

What are you doing while you watch??

Ironing shirts! I have them in the wash right now. This is the one time of the week when I own the remote! I'm so sick of Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and Swamp People, which are what those guys I live with always want to watch.

I wrote thank-you notes for those who sent flowers, food, etc to my mother's funeral. I switched back and forth to the CASTLE marathon on TNT. I was so sad that Ethel gave up her son.

Downton Abbey is one of my faves also! I look at your lovely blog like a wistful child with its nose pressed against the sweetie shop window. I’m notoriously hamfisted, but one day - one day, I’m going to try some of your lessons!

I worked on a blue, wool scarf I am knitting to match a hat I recently finished. I'm over half done and it should be finished soon! Kathy

Make sure you have tissues ready when you watch the last episode.
