Pretty Baby Clothes / Victorian Smockers

Jane finished her Antique T-yoke Baby Dress.

Beautiful!

And Susan finished her T-Yoke Christening Gown from the same class I taught for the Victorian Smockers in Florida.

I love her Gown!

It thrills me to see the wonderful creations completed from a class I teach.

Thank you for sharing these pictures with me.

Teaching at The Smock Shoppe

I was happy to teach my Antique T-Yoke Dress and Gown again!

This time the class was in Dothan, Alabama.

I was teaching for The Smock Shoppe
One of my favorite shops to visit.
Lots of great Machine stitching.

Learning to attach lace to fabric.

And hand basting the lace in place because …some things are just better by hand.

This group was excited to work on their gowns and barely wanted to stop for lunch!

(can you believe that?)

Florida - Warm Sewing Fun!

Now, isn't this lovely??

The Retreat Center where we stayed was Wonderful!!

Lots of places to relax and stitch.

Because this class was held for three days, we included a Christening Gown!

Stitching by The Fire

It has been pretty chilly lately although I know I have nothing to really complain about, living in south Louisiana as I do.

I have been stitching on an Antique T-Yoke Christening Gown.

I am getting ready to teach for the Victorian  Smockers-
Smocking Arts Guild in south Florida (yeah!).

We are having a 3 day workshop and are making a Christening Gown in addition to a choice of Baby Dress or Gown.

Stitching pretty Angel Lace edging to the sleeve.

Although it's too late to join us in Florida (don't you wish!!)  you can come to Alabama to make the Dress or Gown.

What I'm reading - an Aunt Dimity book.

Later...
